EV Power Electronics Engineer

Job Description

Designs and validates power conversion systems (inverters, OBC, DC‑DC) for traction and auxiliaries. Selects devices (Si/SiC/GaN), defines topologies, runs simulations, architects PCBs for HV/HF, and ensures efficiency, thermal performance, EMI/EMC compliance and functional safety.

Skills

IGBT/MOSFET/SiC/GaN; converter/inverter topologies; PSIM/PLECS/Simulink; HV PCB design; thermal design & cooling; EMI/EMC; ISO 26262 basics; lab validation

Education

B.E./B.Tech or M.S. in Electrical/Power Electronics

Work Experience

3–8 years in power electronics (EV/RE/industrial drives)
