Driveline Mechanical Design – Casting Full Time

We’re Hiring: Lead -Driveline Mechanical Design – Casting (Automotive EV)

We are looking for a senior Casting Design Engineer with 12–15 years of experience in automotive or powertrain applications. The role involves end-to-end ownership of casting programs from concept and simulation to validation and industrialization, with strong expertise in casting simulation, DFM, defect prevention, and lightweighting. The candidate will act as a technical expert, collaborating across teams and sharing knowledge with junior engineers.

🔧 Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead design and development of cast components for motor housings, transmission cases, and structural parts
Create and review CAD models, drawings, draft angles, wall thickness, and tolerance stack-ups
Perform and validate casting simulations (porosity, shrinkage, solidification) and correlate with testing
Drive DFM/DFS/DFA, defect prevention, cost optimization, and lightweighting initiatives
Support prototype builds, validation, and industrialization
