Experience Required: 2 to 6 years in preferably Battery manufacturing unit
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Operator proficient in Laser Welding operations for Battery Pack Assembly, especially focused on Busbar and Cell welding. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating and troubleshooting laser welding machines and should be capable of managing day-to-day production activities, including documentation and manpower supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor Laser Welding machines for Busbar to Busbar and Cell welding in Battery Pack Assembly.
Ensure welding quality and process consistency in accordance with defined standards and safety requirements.
Handle and inspect battery cells and modules with best practices for safety and electrochemical handling.
Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of laser welding machines and escalate major issues to maintenance.
Maintain daily production reports, rejection logs, and other MIS documents for Laser Welding accurately.
Coordinate with quality, maintenance, and planning teams for smooth production flow.
Implement process improvements and rejection reduction techniques to enhance productivity.
Support internal and external audits with appropriate documentation and compliance readiness.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in laser welding processes and machine operations.
In-depth knowledge of battery cells and battery pack handling.
Experience in laser welding machines for Cells.
Strong people management and shop floor supervision skills.
Good understanding of production documentation and reporting Daily MIS, Rejection Summary, SOPs for Laser Welding
Ability to work in fast-paced, high-precision manufacturing environments.
Basic knowledge of safety protocols related to battery production.
