What you’ll do at Ather:

Ather’s products are a great concoction of multiple components from different sub-systems (Hardware, Firmware, Software, Cloud). These need to integrate seamlessly and adapt to the Business requirements (New market development, city expansion, etc) & deliver category-leading performance in every aspect. Hence you’ll be involved in many cross-functional team (CFT) coordination to solve complex technical/technology/Operational problems.
In this role, you must have good knowledge of Mechanical Hardware Product Development Lifecycle – Concept to Cash, while working in an agile environment.
Manage the day-to-day execution of multiple scrum teams working on multiple swimlanes with a focus on the development of various Accessories and Merchandise products that compliment the scooter products enhancing the customer experience to build a larger ecosystem for Ather and their customers.
Track each product line and overall milestone deliverables, Releases, and Change Management Processes, Risks, etc.. Your activities include planning, monitoring & closure for sprint activities.
The team’s efficiency depends on your ability to identify risks on a day-to-day basis, look for mitigation, and be a bridge with the other functions on any impediments.
Enable and achieve PnL objectives while adhering to strict deadlines to meet requirements on Quality, Cost, and Delivery parameters.
Help set processes in place for efficient execution and build a culture within the swim lane by establishing the right ways of working.

Here’s what we are looking for:

Should have good knowledge of product development life-cycle, Mechanical/Electric Mechanical hardware systems, functioning of electrical and electronic components.
Your knowledge of system components would help you understand issues better. But more than that, your facilitation and communication skills will be tested in this role.
You’ve had some stints of using Agile/Scrum to manage and maintain complex projects across multiple teams.
Should be detail-oriented with a proven ability to multitask in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements.
Should be a self-starter & go-getter with the ability to multi-task and stay on top of a lot of things simultaneously.
Should be savvy with relevant tools for project management like JIRA, Gantt Pro, G-Suite, etc.
Proactive, responsive, and keen on process enhancement. Proven ability to optimize execution and increase the predictability of the system.
Possess excellent communication and have a good command of verbal and written skills with a clear focus on details – the devil’s in the details!
Finally, a get-it-done attitude that helps deliver uncompromised quality on time is a must in this role.

What you’ll bring to Ather:

A total experience of 6-10 years in OEM or Tier-1 organizations.
Preferably a background in Mechanical Design Engineering, New Product Development, Product Quality, Supply chain development, Manufacturing Process, Played a techno-commercial role in a Product based organization.
BE/B.Tech degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics is a requirement with a recent background in program/project management that’d help understand best practices in Scrum/Agile.
SAFe Scrum Master Certification, MBA, and PMP/PGMP – This will be a definite plus but is not mandatory.
