Job description
Responsibilities:
1.To be responsible for Quality Assurance
2. Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance
3. Respond to customer complaints putting in containment actions, full analysis, poka-yokes (error proofing), and implementing short-term and long-term countermeasures.
4. Ensure that all necessary systems and procedures are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
5. Undertake internal and process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS)
6. Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
7. Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
8. Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs)
9. Set department objectives/KPIs and review and assess ongoing performance of direct reports 10. Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels & motivate the team to operational success.
11. Monitor the completion of tasks and ensure good performance and record on appropriate systems.
12. Responsibility for Quality budgets & responsible for achieving budget and forecast.
13. Educating the team for Kaizen, 5S, Poka-yoke, Process audit, Quality Tools, etc
