Job Responsibilities:

Providing a technical review of all CAD revisions that were triggered by a rejection from an AHJ or Utility before resubmission
Create and provide a training process for our CAD Review department to enable our CAD Reviewers to audit the jobs for accuracy and adherence to code.
Have direct communication with our Rejection Analysis Team on to identify areas of improvement for the CAD Review Team.
Include a feedback loop to our CAD Designers when a Design fails the CAD Review to ensure relevant and accurate information was provided.
Create a stronger CAD Review Process that will enable us to ensure that we are achieving a First Time Pass rate for permits and interconnection applications of 95%
Candidate Requirements:

Solar experience is required for this position.
Experience in AutoCAD, or similar drafting software; MS Word and Excel; Google Docs and Sheets.
Demonstrate structural, mechanical, and electrical design skills, ability to generate accurate, highly detailed construction drawings
Ability to communicate effectively with other team members, engineering, and other operations teams
Ability to work both independently and within a strong cooperative team, in an open office environment
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
Experience:

AutoCAD: 2 years (Required)
Drafting: 3 years (Preferred)
Quality assurance: 2 years (Preferred)
