Job Title: Trainer β Electric Vehicles
Job Summary: As a Trainer in electric vehicles you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs. These programs will encompass Electrical & electronics of EV, power trains, batteries, fault analysis and resolution, safety & material handling. Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development: β’ Design and update training modules and curricula for electric vehicle service & maintenance that would include basic to advanced topic for comprehensive understanding. β’ Create hands-on exercises, projects, and simulations to facilitate effective learning
2. Training Delivery: β’ Conduct engaging training sessions covering various aspects of EV fundamentals, principle of components, fault recognition and resolution including safety and regulations β’ Ensure that training programs align with industry best practices and standards.
3. Hands-On practical Exercises and Instructions: β’ Provide hands-on training in electrical circuits, sensors, overall EV architecture β’ Create real life problem scenarios using simulations and also train students in software tools for designing and fault analysis.
4. Assessment and Evaluation: β’ Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and proficiency. β’ Provide constructive feedback to students and support their skill development.
5. Resource Management: βͺ Interface with workshop team and ensure maximum availability & utilisation of lab equipment & tools βͺ Ensure the availability of necessary training materials and resources.
6. Safety and Compliance: β’ Emphasize and enforce safety practices in EV technology β’ Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe training environment.
7. Industry Engagement: β’ Stay updated with the latest advancements and innovations in Electric vehicle domain β’ Collaborate with industry experts and professionals for insights and knowledge sharing.
8. Student Guidance: β’ Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including career advice and job placement support.
9. Documentation: β’ Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress. β’ Prepare reports on training outcomes and student achievements.
Preferred Candidate Profile: β’ BE/ B Tech / Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering with at least 5-7 years of experience in Automobile Industry β’ In depth knowledge of Automobile & electronics systems, functioning & maintenance, and Engine Management system (Interaction among Sensors/Actuators/ ECU) β’ Thorough understanding of Auto electrical system including Battery (both lead acid & Li-on) charging, Battery management Sys (BMS), functioning of Controller, DC-DC Converter and Battery charger. β’ Hands on experience with Electrical circuits and corresponding troubleshooting practices. β’ Knowledge on functioning of Li-on Battery, its charging, maintenance & Safety while handling β’ Should have worked in an Automobile company with exposure to EV technology.
