Designation : Engineer / Senior Engineer—Technical service.

Reporting to : Lead Engineer- Technical Service
Location : Bengaluru, Full Time
Qualification : Diploma/Engineering Graduate (Specialized in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or allied branchesis preferred)
Experience : 3 – 8 Years of experience in technical service & Aftermarket
(Preferably in the lead-acidbattery industry)

Position Overview:
The Technical service engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and services for TBS Engineering customer ( in the lead acid battery industry, primarily in the Indian market. This role involves performing pre-Installation, installation & commissioning works to meet & exceed customer expectations, troubleshooting equipment issues, handling aftermarket support to ensure the smooth operation of our customers’ manufacturing systems. The individual will collaborate with TBS Engineering, Sourcing, Operation and Sales team. And this position will be hired under Marmon GIC at Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:
Provide technical support and services to clients in the lead-acid battery industry, primarily in the Indian market.
Assist customers in any way possible to reduce downtime, suggest parts to stock, and discuss equipment upgrade and retrofit packages available.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client needs and improve system performance.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and internal teams.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
Offer Aftermarket solutions to clients by aligning with global team.
Routinely suggest training follow-ups to ensure the equipment operators are using the equipment in the most effective and efficient ways.
Visit customers regularly to track the machine’s health & performance.
Identify present Indian market trends and industry activities, regulatory changes to the sales and marketing & sourcing teams to drive business growth.
Map the new potential customer & understand their machine requirements.
This position involves travel, including both domestic and international regions.

Required Qualifications:
Mechanical Engineering or allied branches with a minimum of 3–8 years of experience in technical service, aftermarket will be an added advantage.

Understanding of battery automation and COS (cast-on-strap) technology.
Experience in equipment installation, PLC Programming, automation, and basic electrical
engineering, and maintenance.
Willingness and capability to conduct all aspects of client identification, qualification, and management.
Proficiency in electrical wiring.
Must have experience in automation machinery.
Experience in pneumatic circuits
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organization
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the Fire and Security systems industry is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have Requirements:
Experience in handling Aftermarket tasks for local /global customers.
Strong business-acumen.
Ability to plan and think strategically.
