Overview: As a Management Trainee at Sambhav, you will play a pivotal role in the operational management of
our centres and the facilitation of placements for our beneficiaries. This position offers a unique opportunity to
develop both managerial and programmatic skills in the social sector.
Responsibilities:
1. Centre Management:
o Assist in the day-to-day operations of the NGO’s centres, ensuring smooth functioning and
adherence to operational protocols.
o Coordinate with various departments to ensure resources (human, material and financial) are
optimally utilized.
o Monitor and report on centre activities, including participant attendance, program outcomes
and feedback mechanisms.

2. Placement Facilitation:
o Developing and implementing a comprehensive placement strategy that aligns with the needs
of both students and employers. This may involve identifying industry trends, understanding
job market demands as per the centre.
o Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers, industry associations and
recruitment agencies to understand their hiring needs, establish partnerships for internship
opportunities and facilitate job placements for students.
o Job Readiness Training: Providing personalized career counselling and guidance to students,
helping them identify their strengths, interests and career goals; and assisting them in
navigating the job search process effectively
o Offering workshops, seminars and mock interviews to enhance students’ soft skills such as
communication, teamwork, problem-solving and professionalism.
o Organize and conduct job readiness workshops, resume writing sessions and mock interviews
to prepare beneficiaries for placement opportunities.
o Track and evaluate placement outcomes, ensuring beneficiaries’ successful integration into
the workforce.
3. Program Support:
o Collaborate with program managers to implement strategies for participant engagement and
retention.
o Contribute to the development of training modules and curriculum updates based on industry
trends and participant feedback.
o Support in the planning and execution of special events, workshops and community
engagement activities related to centre operations and placements.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
o Maintain accurate records of participant data, placement statistics and other relevant
information.

o Prepare periodic reports on centre activities, placements and program impact for internal and
external stakeholders.

Qualifications:
 Previous experience in program coordination, centre management or placements is preferred.
 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with
stakeholders at all levels.
 Demonstrated commitment to social impact and understanding of issues related to education,
employment and community development.
 Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with database management software.
