BOM Pricing Specialist (Electronics)

Duties:

· To check online prices of electronics parts and record in excel to make a Bill of Material

· To send a request for quote to various suppliers for pricing and lead time

· Checking for any discrepancies in Bill of Materials

· To coordinate with overseas team for BOM pricing and Quotes

· To compare and update the Bill of Materials

· To find the alternatives for electronic parts based on their specifications

· Must be willing to do other additional work if required

Requirements and Education:

· Bachelor of Engineering/ Diploma in Electronics

· Must have knowledge of different SMD and Through hole electronic components

· Knowledge about PCB fabrication, assembly process is an asset

· Knowledge of Gerber viewing software is an asset

· Very detail oriented as documentation accuracy is critical for this role

· Excellent communication and documentation skills

· Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English

· Must be able to read and understand datasheets

· Advance Excel skill will be a key requisite

· Must have good flair of math
