Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborates with development engineers, feature experts and application test engineers in Mercedes-Benz Germany to develop and validate the functional aspects.
Develop Simulink models from requirements and auto code generation
Create verification plans for hybrid vehicle powertrain control software functions.
Analysis of software module requirements and creation of test scenarios.
Analyze test reports and track issues and defect management in integrated toolchain.
Work closely with development engineers to troubleshoot software and system issues.
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the test environment, including changes in the testing tool chain set up.
Develop scripts to automate testing on the MiL/SiL platform.
Prepare test report documentation.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Embedded Systems or equivalent experience…
2-4 years of experience with powertrain software development and testing.
Excellent time-management skills
Testing and debugging automotive systems software.
Working knowledge of modeling, simulation, and testing techniques.
Outstanding interpersonal skills, excellent problem solving skills, self-motivation
Preferred Job Requirements:
Development and execution of test cases for unit testing.
Development of software modules in simulink
Knowledge of automotive specifically Vehicle powertrain
Knowledge of control systems theory and applications
MiL/SiL testing
Experience on testing using Tessy.
Programming experience in C, Python, & Matlab
Proficiency in modelling and auto code generation
Test Scripts & Issues Documentation
Very clear understanding of software validation processes
Familiarity with vehicle network communication (CAN) & vehicle diagnostics
