Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Experience and having high potential in electromagnetic compatibility simulations, workflow of numerical computations and its theory for simulation of PCBs, wiring harness and vehicle structures.
Experience in Electrical CAD tools (Altium, Pspice, Allegro, LTspice,) for PCB & schematic reviews/simulations.
Involvement in product development of power converters, analog and digital design for its EMI-EMC compliances and best practices to be followed in the designs.
Holds EMI-EMC design reviews for all automotive, specifically electric vehicle inhouse design (eg: DC-DC, motor controller, motors, charger and BMS etc) and wiring harness layouts.
Perform analytical design calculations for different EMI-EMC filters.
Identify electromagnetic compatibility risks in advance and propose an action plan for its mitigation & perform its assessments consistently.
Guide the designers by studying customer EMI-EMC requirements and recommend design incorporations for electromagnetic compliances.
Involve in the component, system, and vehicle compliances for its regulatory requirements.
Involve in reviews of component/system/vehicle failures for electromagnetic compatibility, surges, transients, ESDs etc.
Coordinate with program managers, technical module leads for design change tracking and execution of simulation on continuous basis.
