Structural CAE Analyst Full Time

Experience Range: 5 to 7 Years

Roles & Responsibilities:

Perform durability simulations for truck chassis & aggregates to support new concept development.
Coordinate with multiple stake holders for durability simulation activities & deliveries independently.
Build & debug full vehicle models using pre-processing tools such as Hyper works, Ansys
Perform linear, nonlinear static and fatigue simulations using Ansys/Abaqus, FEMFAT and generate plausible results.
Post-process & analyze simulation results using Hyper works.
Analyze and optimize design based on simulation iterations.
Report preparation by summarizing simulation results and improvements and presentations to global teams
Guiding design decisions by providing counter measure based on simulation results to achieve performance targets.
Support team members to improve competency & efficiency.
Must Have:

Extensive experience and proficiency in full-vehicle structural analysis, including static (linear /nonlinear) and fatigue assessments.
Strong knowledge of FEM theory
Hand-on Expertise in CAE Tools like Hyper Works, Ansys, FEMFAT
Experience in working with CAD data.
Experience with correlation of CAE and Test results.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Knowledge of debugging simulation models.
Strong understanding of result plausibility & result interpretation
Ability to work independently from start to end
Excellent analytical, teamwork skills.
Good to Have:

Experience in working with Heavy commercial vehicle Chassis system level and component level simulations.
Interest in data analytics tools focusing on data driven product development
Demonstrate continuous improvement/innovation supporting common methods and tools.
Know how in Automations, lead time reduction.
Experience in simulation methodology & process development.
Knowledge of vehicle performance metrics and system interactions.
Automotive industry experience with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
