Job Description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Skilled and motivated professional to lead development of ECUs, Actuators, Motor control modules and Sensors development. Also, have basic knowledge of electric vehicle and associated systems like DC-DC converter and Battery.
The role involves end-end ownership from design conceptualisation to implementation in production.
The Candidate will also manage a cross-functional team to ensure seamless integration and validation of systems at both component and vehicle level.
Interpret circuit schematics of ECUs, actuators, sensors and ensure robust design of electrical systems.
Initiate, Interact with CFT & Lead the design engineers for system integration to realise the required E&E feature with Quality, Cost and Time.
Release all technical specification to suppliers for components/systems for EV systems.
Validate the components by making proper test cases in both component and vehicle level so as to give issue free product to customer.
Meet the cost targets specified without compromising quality of the product and also bringing out some cost effective solution thro IMCR/VAVE activities.
Should have knowledge on working of BOM details of components.
Must demonstrate a high degree of problem solving ability, especially in the field of expertise. Usage of Quality tools, DFMEA, Design Reviews & Project management.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support implementation on production lines.
Fluent in use of personal computer programs such as Access, Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.

Experience
10 years
Industry Preferred
Preferable from Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs

Qualifications
BE/B Tech / Mtech Electrical Engineering
BE/B Tech/ Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Mtech – Embedded systems
General Requirements
Interfacing with all inter dept teams from start to end of project to ensure First Time Right
Knowledge and Awareness of dev agencies and testing at agency like ARAI / VRDe/I CAT
Awareness of vehicle technical symposiums, conference etc.
Good knowledge on systems like design reviews/ DFMEAs
Specialized, Technical Good knowledge on vehicle electrical system and interfacing parts.
Manufacturing of E&E aggregates
Maintaining quality level targets as per agreement
