The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving the sales performance and expansion of the electric 2-wheeler segment in the assigned region. This role requires effective leadership, strategy development, and customer relationship management to achieve sales targets and promote the companys EV products.

Key Responsibilities –

Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet targets, identify market opportunities, and work with marketing on promotions and events.
Team Management: Lead, train, and manage the sales team, set targets, and monitor performance to ensure goals are met.
Customer Relationship Management: Build strong relationships with customers and partners, understand needs, and provide feedback for improvement.
Market Analysis & Reporting: Conduct market analysis, track sales data, and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.
Promotions & Event Management: Organize promotional events to boost brand visibility and coordinate with marketing on regional campaigns.
Inventory & Supply Chain: Monitor dealership stock levels and work with the supply chain team to resolve inventory issues.
Compliance & Reporting: Ensure sales activities follow company policies and industry standards and submit regular performance reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
Proven experience of 3-5 years in sales, preferably in the automotive, electric vehicle, or 2-wheeler industry.
Strong knowledge of the electric vehicle industry and its market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Leadership skills with a track record of managing and motivating sales teams.
Ability to analyse sales data and derive actionable insights.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in the electric vehicle (EV) sector, particularly 2-wheelers.
Familiarity with sustainable transportation trends and electric mobility.
Strong local market knowledge and an established network of industry contacts.

Working Conditions:
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
