Design Engineer - Embedded Hardware

Job Description

Responsible for design, development of micro-controller and microprocessor based systems. Able to develop new hardware designs, including system design, CPLD/FPGA or processor design, and board-level analog/ digital circuit design for embedded system/boards.
Should have good hardware design and development knowledge (requirements definition, design, reviews, testing etc). Knowledge/ experience in architecture and programming concepts of 8086/ 8051/ ARM processors is essential. Hands on experience in the usage of debuggers/ programmers and other development tools from Keil/ARM etc. Knowledge of PCI architecture/bus will be an added advantage. Should be able to trouble shoot embedded boards/systems. Involvement in customer support activities by site visits/giving demos /training /installation/solving customer's field issues is essential. Should be able to travel mainly to South Indian locations.
