Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will ideally have broad-based experience in manufacturing and will represent the Engineering Department in all aspects of designing, developing, and implementing solutions that control dynamic battery manufacturing systems. This may include (but not be limited to) the following responsibilities:

Support integration, commissioning and acceptance testing activity.
Project Manage the delivery of control system projects through appointed System Integrators.
Demonstrate proven skills in the application of systems engineering tools and techniques to deliver world class quality performance levels.
Conduct system verification, compliance, and regulatory qualification.
Support the installation, commissioning, in service troubleshooting and modification of systems.
Implementation of control software and verification using simulation tools and real-time test environments.
Provide ongoing technical support and work as an integral part of a multi-discipline cross functional team.
Liaising with outside suppliers or developers to source the most effective hardware or software solution in line with the business’s needs.
Support project specific safety documentation to relevant standard requirements; IEC61508, IEC61511 and EN ISO.13849.
Demonstrate excellence in the programming of PLC. HMI and SCADA applications, supporting system concept system design including drafting diagrams and sourcing components.
Test new applications within automation equipment for reliability and safety compliance.

Qualifications:
BE Electrical /Instrumentation /Electronics
Essential skills:
PLC programming particularly with Mitsubishi , Siemens platforms and BECKHOFF
Software programming to a recognised standard in LDR, ST/SCL and FBD logic
knowledge of modern SCADA platforms
