Orxa Energies is a Performance Electric Vehicle & Energy Systems startup. Founded in Aug 2015 and based out of Bangalore, we “Rapidly Electrify All Transport”. We are launching the Mantis, India’s first Fully Electric Naked Sports Motorcycle this year.

Job Description

* Design braking systems for motorcycles

* Perform simulations of braking behavior of motorcycles

* Design and get tests conducted to validate performance of braking systems on motorcycles

* Participate in Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) integration and tuning

* Work with tyre manufacturers to understand effect of tyre compounds, sizes, pressures etc in braking performance

* Contribute to improved braking performance

Requirements

* B.E. / M.E in Mechanical engineering. 2-3 years of relevant industrial experience in automotive industry

* Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, hydraulics, fluid flow and mathematics required for the same

* Knowledge and experience in simulation of fluid flow systems, operation of solenoid valves, relief valves etc

* Experience in working with 2 wheeler braking systems and/or in having integrated ABS systems on 2 or 4 wheeler vehicles would be a plus

* Should be able to work in an inter-disciplinary team and with vendors / partners

* Clear communication in spoken and written form, report writing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
