About the job
As part of the implementation design methodology team you will be driving RTL2GDS flow for central design – understand and create required chip development solutions & flows, define design methodology using automation and tool development.

You will grow as the methodology owner for one or multiple pillars of design flow and provide complete solution to design team – including anticipated future needs.

You will be resolving design execution team’s tool/methodology issues – the tougher ones will require pushing EDA vendors to get the solution for design in time – sometime working with them to create one.

To start with the focus will be place and route area of the flow.

Tool/methodology evaluation/deployment related to physical implementation and IP view generation. Includes support for the deployed tools.

Plan and drive design methodology projects to meet current and future design team requirements – understand, plan, schedule, collaborate and manage methodology project to deliver with a timeline aligned with customer. Own the solution completely end to end.

Research, evaluate and integrate tools in the design flow to improve design productivity – perform trade-off between time to market/speed and area.

Should be good at SW development – specifically scripting and interfacing with EDA tools.

Need to have 3-5 years of experience in relevant areas after Masters / bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics or Computer science stream.
