Job Description:
– Execute NVH CAE projects (including new methodology development and improvement in existing methodologies) as per agreed plan and resources
– Conduct FE model assembly and sanity check (quality/material/thickness/mass etc.) – Perform desired analysis, review results and report
– Evaluate design proposals and suggest countermeasure concepts to meet targets
– Support Weight and performance optimization with help of analytical tools
– Interact with design teams to negotiate/discuss on modifications based on technical discussion
– Evaluate design proposals, determine the performance gaps, risk assessment and work towards meeting the requirements
– Interact with platform lead, project lead, testing team for CAE-Test correlation
Experience:
6 + years of hands on analysis experience at OEM or a subsidiary
Working knowledge of NVH domain (theory & principles of vibration & acoustic)
Working knowledge of vehicle NVH Assessment and NVH Testing
Analysis Model Building for Vehicle Aggregates, Vibro-acoustic TBIW, Driveline, Full Vehicle NVH Simulation Model, etc.
Hands on with techniques of FEM, MBD, BEM, SEA
Hands on with Software’s like Altair-HM, MSC-Nastran, LMS-Virtual Lab, AVL
Excite, GT Power, VAOne
NVH Simulation Processes in the domains of Structural analysis, Vibro-acoustic analysis, Powertrain Multi Body Simulations, Sound Pack Simulations.
Root cause analysis for NVH problems thru TPA, ODS, PACA, GPCA etc.
EV NVH domain knowledge and Electric motors simulation
Vehicle BSR knowledge and simulation
Powertrain and Road noise simulation
Proficiency in MS Office
Exposure to PLM is preferred
