EV Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

Inspect incoming, in‑process, and finished EV parts for conformity. Perform dimensional/functional checks, review supplier CoCs, record NCRs, and support containment & corrective actions with QA engineering. Ensure traceability and safe inspection practices.

Skills

• Visual/dimensional/functional inspection methods
• Use of gauges, calipers, micrometers, and CMM basics
• Standards knowledge (ISO 9001, IATF 16949)
• SQC/sampling plans and AQL application
• Defect logging, NCR creation, and disposition tracking
• EV checkpoints: battery, motor, power electronics, harnesses
• Root‑cause tools (5‑Why, Fishbone) and feedback to suppliers
• Clear reporting and documentation hygiene
• Safety/ESD practices during inspections

Education

Diploma/Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Quality Engineering

Work Experience

2–5 years in automotive/EV QC

Salary (India)

₹4 LPA – ₹8 LPA
