EV Test & Validation Engineer
Job Description
Plan and execute validation for EV systems (battery, inverter, motor, OBC). Build detailed DVP&Rs, set up DAQ, run environmental/durability tests (thermal, vibration, corrosion), analyze data, and drive design improvements to meet performance/safety targets and standards pre‑SOP.
Skills
• Creation of DVP&R and detailed test procedures
• Subsystem knowledge: battery, power electronics, drivetrain
• DAQ/sensor setup and calibration know‑how
• Environmental/durability testing (thermal, vibration, corrosion)
• DFMEA/PFMEA and failure analysis/containment
• Compliance to ISO/IEC/AIS/UN‑ECE R100
• Use of MATLAB/Simulink/ANSYS for validation support
• Strong analytics and technical report writing
• Cross‑functional sync with R&D/Production/Quality
Education
Bachelor’s in Electrical/Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
Work Experience
3–7 years in automotive/EV validation
Salary (India)
₹8 LPA – ₹15 LPA
