Role overview
Battery assembly operators sit at the heart of every EV plant. India is adding 20+ gigafactories through 2030 and each line needs 80-150 trained operators per shift. The role combines manual precision (cell sorting, busbar fitting, harness routing) with strict safety discipline — a single mishandled cell can trigger a thermal runaway.
Day-to-day you'll work a station inside a clean, climate-controlled assembly area, handling cells, modules and finally complete packs. PPE includes ESD wrist straps, Class-0 gloves and arc-rated jackets. Career growth is fast — operators with two clean years routinely move into line-setter and team-leader roles.

- Operate the assigned station per the documented SOP and takt-time.
- Perform first-piece, mid-shift and last-piece quality checks and log them in the shift register.
- Follow 5S and PPE discipline rigorously; never bypass an interlock or safety device.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in a relevant trade (Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter / Welder).
- Basic literacy in English / Hindi to read SOPs and safety bulletins.
- Ability to stand for full shifts and work in a three-shift rotation.
