Motor winding still combines machine and manual work. Operators thread enamelled copper wire through stator slots using semi-automatic winders, check coil pitch against the engineering spec, and feed the wound stators to varnish-impregnation and end-of-line testing. India's two-wheeler EV boom has multiplied demand for trained winders fivefold since 2022.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in a relevant trade (Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter / Welder).
- Basic literacy in English / Hindi to read SOPs and safety bulletins.
- Ability to stand for full shifts and work in a three-shift rotation.
