About the role
XBattery is looking for passionate and driven Hardware Engineer Interns to join our growing engineering team working on next-generation Battery Management Systems (BMS), lithium battery packs, and energy storage solutions for EV and clean energy applications. This role is ideal for students who are interested in hardware design, battery technology, embedded systems, and power electronics, and are looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment focused on building innovative energy solutions.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, development, and testing of battery hardware systems and electronic circuits • Support PCB design review, schematic analysis, and component selection
• Assist in hardware validation, debugging, and troubleshooting of prototypes
• Support battery pack assembly, wiring, and hardware integration activities
• Conduct testing and analysis of battery modules, sensors, and power electronics systems
• Collaborate with firmware, software, and mechanical teams for system integration
• Perform lab testing, data collection, and analysis for performance validation
• Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and design records
Requirements
• Pursuing or recently completed B.Tech/B.E in EEE
• Strong understanding of Power Electronics
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems and battery technology
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Comfortable working in a startup and hands-on environment
