About the role
Own HV safety architecture for the Avinya platform — IMD logic, HV interlocks, contactor strategy, and crash-disconnect. Cross-functional role spanning powertrain, BMS and vehicle safety.
Responsibilities
• Define HV system safety concept (ISO 26262, ISO 6469) • Own AIS-156 / UN R136 + R100 type-approval evidence • Lead failure-mode reviews with cell + powertrain teams • Drive crash-test integration + post-crash discharge logic
Requirements
• 5-8 years EV HV systems / functional safety • ISO 26262 + ISO 6469 hands-on experience • AIS-156 / UN R136 compliance work • Familiarity with HV interlock + contactor topologies
