Automotive Skills Development Council
VerifiedASDC (Automotive Skills Development Council) is the Sector Skill Council under NSDC. ASDC owns the National Occupational Standards (NOS) for every automotive role in India, including EV technicians, charge-point operators, battery operators and EV powertrain engineers. Every ITI-level EV certification ultimately routes through ASDC-aligned curriculum and assessment.

ASDC's research output is the National Occupational Standards themselves — the rubric every dealer / OEM training program in India ultimately aligns to. ASDC also publishes the annual Automotive Skill Gap Report which forecasts EV-workforce demand by role.
